How much space do you need?

A minimum of 8 square metres.

How is it best to time things?

It is entirely up to you when you would like me to play during your event, please do let me know if you have any specific requirements. Usually I will play the first 45-minute set, take a short break and then perform the 2nd 45 minute set.

Can I pick the bands playlist?

You are more than welcome to pick which songs from my existing repertoire list you would like me to play, however I prefer to choose the order in which they are played. Please let me know if there are songs on the list, which you definitely do or don’t want me to play at the event.

Where will you travel to?

I will travel UK wide.

Will you learn our special song?

I can learn your special song as long as I am given at least 1 months notice. If possible please let the agent know which song you would like me to learn at the time of booking, so that I have plenty of time to learn it and make it sound extra special.

Is the video on your website a true reflection of your act?

Yes, the videos you see on my website are 100% live.

How do I book you?

You can do a number of things:

- Use the date checker widget to the right of each page to get an instant online quote and begin the enquiry process.

Are you able to DJ in between sets? Can we make DJ requests in advance to my event?

I am unable to DJ. However I can play music to go on in the background from my iPod. Please let me know well in advance if there is a specific artist/song/genre which you would like to be played so that I have time to prepare this for you.

Can we use your sound system for speeches?

Yes you can use my sound system for speeches, however I do not have a radio mic if that is something you would need. Please let the agent know the times you will need to use the sound system, if it is far outside of performance times.

What equipment do you use?

The equipment that I use is listed below and is of a high standard and creates a brilliant quality sound.

Do you have lights?

Yes I have lighting that will create the perfect atmosphere for any event.

How long do you play for?

A standard set is two 45 min sets, however you can request for me to play two 1-hour sets for an extra £50.

What time do you start and finish?

It all depends at what point you would like the musical entertainment to take place during your event.

How long do you take to set up?

If the venue is easily accessible meaning I can park close to the entrance, then the standard set up time is 1 hour, which includes a sound check.

Can I provisionally book you?

No, only official bookings only please.

What will you wear?

I will wear smart formal clothes for the event. If you have a theme I would also be willing to adapt what I wear to match this. Please feel free to check out my photo gallery to see the sort of clothing I will be wearing.

Does the band have PAT and PLI certificates?

Yes.

Why should I book Kelly Barnes?

The variety of genres and artists in my set list means that my performance will cater for everyone. The style I play in creates a chilled and uplifting atmosphere, inviting the audience to get involved and sing along.

How much does it cost to book you?

The price for booking may vary depending on the location, timings and any upgrades but the standard rate starts at £300.

Do you have any specific requirements?

I request a room in which I can change, something to eat and drink for the duration of my time at the venue.

What type/size venues are you able to play at?

All kinds! Being a solo act, I can fit in small spaces, and outdoors and I have no issues performing on large stages either!

How loud will the band be?

I will always make sure that the volume levels are suitable for the size and that people can still communicate whilst I am playing. As it is acoustic it will not be overpowering.
